Librarians are good for higher ed technology

Librarians are a studious bunch, hard-working and dependable but also the hope for education technology?

According to this blog post by Inside Higher Ed, librarians are a great fit for the future of technology and computing on campus.  Libraries have a positive history of experimenting with and embracing technology; librarians work well with other groups or departments and have strong service records.  Many times, librarians are the go-to tech help for classrooms, providing quick training or review of classroom specifics.  Librarians also have experience using various types of library computers and software while helping faculty and students find relevant information.
