Local Flood Information

The UNL (University of Nebraska-Lincoln) Extension office has an educational website on flood resources for people in Nebraska and beyond.  This site includes information on disaster preparedness, links to local newspaper websites and articles on flooding, various hotline phone numbers and maps.

The US Army Corp of Engineers, Omaha District website has details on the Missouri River flooding as well as “Spring 2011 Flood Response” information.

For Omaha area information, the Papio NRD (Natural Resources District) has flood and flood prevention information available for the public.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources provides gauge readings as well as Missouri River flood info for the entire river area.
