Need a Book We Don’t Have? ILL It!

Schmid Law Library has approximately 136,000 titles; not books, we have more books than that! But sometimes we don’t have THE book necessary for your research project or seminar paper.

No worries; we can Inter-Library Loan (ILL) the book for you. The ILL form is available online, please include all relevant information: contact info, book title, author, deadline etc. Most ILL requests arrive within two weeks and can be renewed if needed.

Which Law Review will win?! Schmid Law Library is offering Law Review Madness 2015 during this season’s March Madness tournament. We’ll have brackets available on Monday afternoon at the circulation desk for those who want to play along. Completed brackets are due by noon on Wednesday, March 18th to the law library circulation desk.

The grand prize is a Golden Ticket for all-day use of a study room of your choice AND bragging rights for winning the first Law Review Madness tourney hosted by Schmid Law Library.

Call All Law Student Artists!

We invite current law students to participate in our next art exhibition from April 1 – May 11, 2015. This exhibit will feature law student-created art. If you have prepared art (framed and ready to hang) and are interested in participating please Marcia Dority Baker.

Schmid Law Library is very excited to host law student art in April especially with many events happening at Nebraska Law later this semester.

The art show application is available at; Please complete the application by March 20th, Marcia will email the artists after that date about bringing art to the law library. The show will open on April 1st, all art work must be delivered by Monday, March 30th.
