It’s the end of an era at Schmid Law Library.

Brian Striman is retiring after 37 years in law libraries! He started at Creighton Law School, Klutznick Law Library before his career at the University of Nebraska College of Law, Schmid Law Library. He was active in MAALL (Mid-America Association of Law Libraries) and AALL (American Association of Law Libraries) for many years; his enthusiasm and humor will be missed.

Thank you, Brian – we wish you well on your next adventure!

A faculty profile of Brian discussing his career and law librarianship is available in the Fall 2014 issue of The Nebraska Transcript, the UNL College of Law’s publication via the UNL Digital Commons.

We know you spend A LOT of time studying in law school (and for the Bar Exam). There are several standup study spots available on the first floor of Schmid Law Library; look for the “Stand Up to Studying” signs – even better news, there’s outlets for your laptop!

Happy Studying!
