Schmid Law Library hosted our 11th annual Mel Shinn Day mini-golf course on Friday, September 11th as part of the Mel Shinn Day events at the University of Nebraska College of Law. Over 90 people (some more than once) played the nine-hole course set on two floors of the library. A big THANK YOU to the law library staff for helping set up the course. See you next year!

Mini-Golf in @SchmidLibrary

It’s that time of year, Mel Shinn Day is Friday, September 20th. As part of the festivities, Schmid Law Library is hosting our 9th annual miniature golf course. There are 9 holes covering the first and second floor of the library. Tee times run from 8:00AM – 3:00PM, first-come, first-serve for those interested in planning.

An interesting fact about our course: library staff have “adopted” a hole to set-up and decorate – see if you can determine who is responsible for a particular mini-golf hole.

Roscoe sez: are you ready for some mini-golf!?!

Today is Mel Shinn Day at NU Law College; as part of the festivities, Schmid Law Library sets up 9 holes of mini-golf in the library.  This is the eight year we’ve hosted mini-golf, each year the course decorations improve and the fun increases – especially as conversation about the event has created a tradition.
