New Year Resultions for the Spring Semester

Did you make any New Year’s resolutions?

How about using a new library resource, such as a database or e-book? Perhaps a different study room or study space this semester? If you want know more about Schmid Law Library, our Library in a Nutshell LibGuide is a great place to start.

Attending an event at Nebraska Law is a fun way to connect with classmates, future colleagues and the Lincoln and/or Nebraska legal community. Don’t forget to review the University of Nebraska College of Law calendar for Spring semester events. We have several S.T.I.R. Talks, special speakers, a chess tournament and more schedule over the next few months.

The Spring semester starts January 13th, with new opportunities just around the corner!

Did you know that the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a YouTube channel? Check out the great videos from a variety of UNL colleges and departments including campus tours, the Willa Cather letters as well as the Dear Harvey Responses.

The Nebraska College of Law also has cool new videos featuring our law students as well as Nebraska Law faculty members succinctly discussing their research during last year’s  S.T.I.R talks.

Welcome Back for Spring 2013

The spring semester has begun, welcome back!

Schmid Law Library’s spring semester hours are:

  • Sunday 11:00Am – 12:30Am
  • Monday-Thursday 7:30AM – 12:30Am
  • Friday 7:30AM – 10:00PM
  • Saturday 9:00Am – 10:00PM

Schmid Law Library will be open 9Am – 5PM on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 21st.

Reference Librarians are available from 8Am – 5PM Monday through Friday for Reference assistance, stop by or call the library with questions.

A number of exciting events and informative speakers are schedule at the University of Nebraska College of Law this spring 2013 semester. Check the UNL Law College Calendar for details. Mark your calendar for February 7th, the Nebraska Supreme Court will be in session at McCollum Hall.
